Ron L.Thomas grew up in the jewelry business. Ron started his Jewelry career at the tender age of 10. Now, over 40, he recalls engraving and polishing trophies for the "Thomas Trophy Tavern". Ron's Thomas' Father Richard L. Thomas was a Mastercraftsman for over 53 years. Richard L. Thomas was one of Cache Valley's first Manufacturing Jewelers. Richard originally got into the business as a horologist, (study of time/hours). Richard sold a few peices of jewelry and was so dissappointed by the level of craftsmanship available, he decided to become a bench jeweler himself and became a self-taught Master of the Art of Goldsmithing and Gemsetting. Ron learned, from his Father at a young age, that Superb Craftmanship and Excellent Customer Care is what it takes to survive in the Jewelry Industry. Since winning The International Jewelry Design Award at the JCK show in Las Vegas 2003, Ron has devoted much of his time and effort in developing new, innovative styles that combine Ancient Techniques and Traditional Jewelry making methods with the most modern technology and manufacturing techniques available today, even pioneering and creating new tools and methods that exist only in his own Private Jewelry Design Studio at the Base of the Rocky Mountains.
